We would like to provide a recommendation for real estate agent Reina Robinson from Keller Williams Preferred Realty. We hired Reina to sell our current home after five months of listing it for sale by owner (FSBO) ourselves. Reina initially previewed our home with a potential buyer during the time we had it listed. Her client was not interested in our home, however, Reina saw it’s potential and followed up with us concerning the services she could provide. We were skeptical at first because we had sold our prior homes ourselves. Reina came to the listing appointment very well prepared. She presented herself in a professional, knowledgeable and courteous manner. During the meeting, we realized that the market and economy had definitely changed since our last sale and that one of the major things our FSBO home lacked was advertising and exposure.


We hired Reina to list our home in July 2010 and within a day, she placed our for “sale sign”, entered our home in the MRIS, and placed it on numerous Internet sites for maximum exposure. Within a week, she conducted an open house, sent mailings to homes in our area, and later hosted a well-received broker’s open. She conducted extensive research on the comparable homes in our area to get the most for the house by navigating the listing price. She informed us of showings and gave us the maximum amount of time to prepare as possible. Within 90 days, we received a solid contract and our home is expected to settle December 1, 2010.

 

Throughout the process, Reina followed through on the promises she made during our initial interview, she was flexible and quick to respond to any inquiries we made. She is an excellent negotiator and we felt that because she did a superior job on the listing side, we decided to have her represent us on the purchase of our new home. That transaction has been as smooth as the listing and we couldn’t be happier with her services.
